Cruising Using DVC Points Question

I know it is not the best use of points for a cruise but we have decided to anyway. My question is this - do you get to pick which stateroom you want like you can when you book directly thru Disney?

Yes you can choose yor own stateroom when you book on points.
Have fun and personally I think they are your points and you can use them however you want.

Don't apologize for cruising on points!!! They are your points to use. We've cruised on points too. Sometimes, it's a whole lot easier to just use the points than come up with $5 grand extra funds to cover a vacation. Use and enjoy.

we used our points this time for our first cruise too. we got to pick which stateroom we needed or would accommodate us.
