Cruising on the Disney Dream for Halloween 2014

Hi! I have already joined the FB group but wanted to touch base here as well. This will be our third DCL, second on the Dream. It is myself and 3 DD's (10, 9 & 7) and we would LOVE to participate in the FE!!!! :yay: Our SR is 10594. Where do I sign up and get a list of who I drop off too?? Can't wait!!

We have a FB group that is really active. You can sign up for FE's there. https://www.facebook.com/groups/645716862140992/

We also have a Trick or Treat event planned for the kids Oct 31st, 9:30-10:30 that you can sign up for. https://www.facebook.com/events/742515409147773/

We are doing a Roaming Mickey, and a Minnie Magnet as well. https://www.facebook.com/events/743976162308464/

And we have a private Mixology class being arranged for the Nassau day at 4pm. https://www.facebook.com/events/1428808250740985/

Come join in the fun !

Hi fellow cruisers! We just booked this 10/31 Halloween cruise. pirate:
Me, dd23, and ds16. We're traveling with friends; another mom and her 16yr son.
Needed a break to look forward to and this fits perfectly with days off in the Fairfax VA school system. (Is it because we are next to DC that we get the Election Day long weekend?)
Anyway we have done Disney at Halloween and loved it, so this seemed a perfect combination of the sea and the holiday and probably the only way I could get my son on board.
My son and I are Atlantis nuts and we are very excited to show my daughter around for her first time there.
If I can find the link for the pub crawl, I think that there will be 3 of us interested in joining.
We're on the 8th deck. First time on Disney!
Should I mention that I was on NCL for Hurricane Sandy.... we had a blast!

:wave2: Hi Unfortunately this thread is not very active, but come on over to the facebook page, the link is posted above. There is a lot going on over there. Make sure to check out all of our Events.

Our trip is planned and we are so exited for the Halloween Cruise! It is my daughter's 7th birthday on the 31st too :)

We'll be joining you guys too.

This will be our 3rd Disney Cruise, and the first vacation DH (57) and I (54) have ever taken without DD(17). She's a senior this year and has already filled out college applications :scared:, so DH and I figured that we'd better get reacquainted and used to having fun on our own.

This was kind of a last minute decision, so we're 5E QTY and don't have a room assignment yet - another first for me, as I'm really a planner and would normally pick the exact room I wanted (5E extreme aft)....not knowing the exact room assignment makes me a little nervous, but I've decided that we'll have a great time wherever they put us. :cool1:

This is our first cruise and as Disney Crazies of course it had to be a Disney Cruise. In prep mode we are going to Disney this weekend and next:)

See a lot about the Fish Extender and Door Decorating.

Who is participating??

Hi all. We are joining you too. It's me DW, DD16 and DD10. Just requested to join FB group too. :)

We are sailing on October 11 to the Southern Caribbean. Soooooooo excited!!

Is the halloween cruise scary for little ones?

We were on the Dream 2 years ago Halloween and it was not scary at all, no more than say Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween party in WDW MK... I do believe the celebration is more elaborate now but Disney won't do anything that would scare the kids!

Some kids are scared of any character in costume in the park or elsewhere - as well as Santa! LOL If this is the case - may not be good for you! But if your kids love the characters, I think they'll love Halloween on the ship! :)
