thinking of cruising on points (soon to be new members). we're comparing prices versus renting for $10/point, and it's about even, but we have a few questions.
when you book with points, does it cover taxes, fees, port charges, and/or insurance? for anything it doesn't cover, how much more will we owe. it'll be me and dh. thanks in advance!!

This is what points doesn't cover..........

1.insurance
2.Alcohol
3.excursions
4.coke's(besides at dinner)
5.pictures
6.transfers to and from port
7.Palos adult restraunt ($10 per person)
8.Massages
9.Internet cafe

thanks--that is so helpful!
i might not have the "cruise lingo" down pat yet so i just want to clarify...cruising on points does cover port charges? i wasn't sure if this was one in the same as "fees" which has also been listed on other quotes for paying cash. thanks again!

Nick- If you cruise on cash are the things you mentioned that were not covered by points included?

All the things Nick listed are additional charges whether you pay cash or pts. They are all extras that you can decide to utilize or not.
