After our incredible Disney vacation this past July, we decided now is the time to book our FIRST DISNEY CRUISE!! We had thought to go in May, 2005, but have found that some of the sailings are already booked... so, now, we are thinking late October, early November 2005.

I have been on the Dis for awhile, but always skipped the Cruise Board, because I didn't think that would ever be me... but it is!!!

I'm going to be a regular reader here, but was wondering if any of you can point me in the right direction... of course, I would love to find out which agency I should start with to get the best price!

I've already started my notebook about tips and hints that I have read here in the last two days - I think I need a bigger notebook!

Thanks in advance for any info - plus a big thanks to all of you who have written the posts I've read in the past!

(There will be three of us - DH, DD (7) and myself)

You should get quotes from as many sources as possible - but along with DU, try out another DISr, Kim@kingdommagic.com - she is with Kingdom Magic Travel and they and she are certified Disney travel planners. I just used her and her customer service is remarkable considering I am a pain in the keister. I have had her calling DCL non-stop and she does it at the drop of a hat.

Just my two cents. HTH

Welcome! I recommend starting with the agency sponsoring the DisBoards - Dreams Unlimited. I also highly recommend www.allseastravel.com and www.vacationstogo.com. I like these sites b/c they post their prices right on the site. I originally booked by first cruise w/ All Seas, and my next cruise with Costco (you have to call Costco for their quote; sorry, I don't have the number handy).

Good luck, and happy planning!!!

P.S. ...be ready to become obsessed!:hyper:

read up on what category cabin you would like to get. Where you would like the location to be. Disneycruise.com is a great starting point and it will also give you a base to compare other rates with. That site will also give you all the excursions offered by DCL and what they involve. You will have a great time planning and welcome to the cruise boards, by the way!

Thanks for all of the info so far!! I appreciate you taking the time to share your favorites!
