We are currently booked for the Western Cruise on May 6, 2006. However, if friends of ours decide to cruise with us, we will have to move to mid-June as she is a kindergarten teacher--actually my son's teacher!!
So, exactly how hot is it in June? Are we going to die of heat stroke? Is there enough breeze from the water that it really doesn't feel as bad?

We are kind of used to the heat in St. Louis ...it can get pretty bad and HUMID!!!!!
I always cruise in June. BUT that will all change after this year. We will not get out of school until mid-June beginning next year. I live in NC so I am used to hot, humid weather. I've gone on 2 Eastern cruises and 1 Western cruise in June. Key West was the hottest place I think I've ever been. I enjoyed the cruise though. Cozumel was hot, but not unbearable. Grand Cayman was no problem. The sea days were wonderful as always. If I ever do the Western again, I doubt I'll even get off the ship in Key West. It's still part of the US so no duty-free shopping. I also didn't like the atmosphere in Key West. Very un-Disney like. I know Disney can't control the people there, but it was just different from the other ports. I wouldn't worry about the weather though. I think you'll have a great time!
