I thought I read on this board when making cruise arrangements last year that you received something 2 months after cruising. Who is suppose to send something for a future cruise offer? Are they not doing that anymore? I did use DVC points for 2 tickets & cash for the other 2.

What I recall is that in the fall some cruises offered a special on-board rebooking rate, that was reduced. If you received something in your stateroom about the reduced rate, you are not due anything else. Those cruisers in the fall who weren't offered the on-board rate were sent a letter offering the cheaper rate.

You might also be thinking about the membership in the Castaway Cay Club - which you are supposed to find out about sometime after cruising. Basically the club offers you a shipboard credit for a future cruise if you book and cruise within specific timelines.

The word on the cruise board is that the CCC is way behind in sending out membership materials (we've not received ours yet and we cruised in Oct of 01) - but that doesn't prevent you from getting the credit if it's available.

To get the credit, you must book within 120 days of your last cruise, and cruise within 18 months of the last cruise. I *think* the rules have been changed so that those that cruised with DVC points are eligable for the credit, I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong.
