Cruise trip report: 4 Day Wonder: 4/30 - 5/4/06 (very long)

Can you remember what time you got into the traffic jam in Nassau? We are going to the Atlantis, what time would you recommend heading back to the ship to avoid rush hour?

If I remember right, it was around 4:00 when we hit the traffic. It was mostly traffic going over the bridge. As for what time to return to the ship: it really depends on when you get back to ship, and what you want to do.

Also, can you explain the board first thing? We are flying southwest, and this is the first time I have heard of this.

Thanks

Southwest airlines requires you to check in online 24 hours before your flight. Based on the order in which you check in, you get either an A, B, or C pass, which determines the order in which you board. Southwest does not assign seats. That means that if you want to sit with the people you are travelling with, you have to be one of the first to board the plane, which means that you have to check in almost exactly 24 hours in advance.

Boardfirst.com is a website where you can pay $5, and it will automatically check you in 24 hours in advance. That increases the chances that you can get an A pass, which increases the chances that sit with the people that you are travelling with.

Wow we are "VERY" different Naniboujou? :rotfl: :rotfl2: :rotfl: I love being different but usually I am not so quiet about it as I am on the ship. Don't want to get thrown overboard after all!!!

I am sure we saw everyone in the adult areas at one time or another but we only went to them on the last night. We actually ended up doingi some movies on the other nights because we've done most of this before.

Pub skit, hysterical. Second time seeing it and I thought it was just as funny as the first time. However it might have something to do with drinking the martini flight!!! :drinking1

It was nice watching the "honeymooners" dance at the club and remember what that felt like in the beginning. We were actually celebrating our 31st Wedding Anniversary on the Wonder. Now we just try to stay to keep our eyes open past 11. :teeth:

Ironically, Wednesday night was the one night that she and I were not at Wavebands, since we were at Palo and then had to pack. If you weren't there Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday, then you did't see it.

So, anyone who was dancing there was a "honeymooner"? If so, then my girlfriend and I would be "honeymooners". But, if you weren't there Sunday, Monday, or Tuesday, I guess you didn't see us.

Was anyone else here at Wavebands on Sunday night (April 30)? Did anyone see me embarass myself as John Travolta #1? Or, if you were there on Monday night (May 1), you saw both my girlfriend and I embarass ourselves when we ran up to the dance floor and started dancing, not realizing that they were doing a show first!
