hey guys,
i just wanted to hear some stories about cruises if any of you have been on any. I went on one last year for a family reunion with 23 other family members. it was nuts. also, I met some really nice girls who i continue to stay in touch with. so shout back and share some stories

Hey Welcome to the DIS Lancerguys! I have been on 4 cruises: Carnival Holiday (LA to Ensenada and Catalina), Carnival Triumph (Port Canavral to Jamaica, Grand Caymans, Cozomel), Disney Magic (Port Canavral to Nassau and Castaway Cay) and Disney Wonder (Port Canavral to St. John/St. Thomas, St. Maarten, and Castaway Cay). This summer i am going on the Carnival Conquest (the newest BIGGEST fun ship they have) with 3 of my friends, WOW they aren't even ready for us hehe. I have had some GREAT experiences on the ships. Like hanging out in hallways, running and sliding on wet decks, cramming 20 people in our room, and getting to know people in Common Grounds. We had some great excursions like horseback riding on the beach in Jamaica, The junkanoo Jam teen only dance boat, getting our own speedy boat to go out St. Thomas, and LOTS more. I have kept in touch with ALOT of people from my cruises and its great to just talk and remenice ya know? WOW i am like a cruise fanatic i swear! ok yeah so share your stories!

wow, you sure are. all you stories sound fantastic. I have some pretty cool stories, but definitly not as many as you. anyway, for me I remember going to dinner and watching my uncle order like 2 entrees, and then 2 desserts. and then later, he would have ice cream at scoops. common grounds was so cool. I really had a blast getting to know kids and the counselors. I still stay in touch with two of them they live in georgia and south carolina which is cool to hear about different places. but the funny story is, I met one of the girls cause we were playing that murder game. anyway she killed me and after that we started talking and hung out. anyway, thanks for everything and I hope to hear from you again. oh and I feel for you with school. I am a freshman but all the seniors are like dying to get out. where are going to college? ok thanks for everything.

One time on the disney cruise.... (sorry i am in the band that is how i start all my storys ) I was eating dinner and i got a salad... well while i was eating it i found a fly in there.

And you know how there is not cussing on the cruise (in common grounds) well we were making up new words on day cause there was nothing better to do... for example Mickey was f&$k. Well we were telling Vivi (the coolest CM you will ever meet) and she said well Chip and dale should be Mother F@!ker. Good times.

There are alot more but i dont think that anyone wants to hear them!

Has anyone done the comedy improv? I'm a big time actress and I really wanted to do it but never got a chance to do it. Any info on it would be awesome!

I dont really remember the comedy improv. I remember a lot of people did kareoke, which was pretty popular

I dont remember improv either! o well... that might be at the comdey club. I remember them trying to kill me at lunch that day. I also remember all the guys trying to get the girls make up to do the kiss of death. That was funny. Seeing all the guys that where your friends with make up on.

The make your own movie was the funnest! GOOD TIMES!

I remember a guy looking really goofy because he put on lipstick. that was really funny. I got killed by the kiss from some girl. in fact, the same girl that killed me, we ended up talking for the rest of the cruise and we continue to stay in touch. I was pretty good. I think I killed like 4 people

last time i went on a cruise (Disney wonder) i wasnt old enough to go to common grounds, but i went to the oceaneer lab. that was pretty fun, but i cant wait to check out common grounds. whats the murder game you're talking about?

you will have a blast at common grounds. everyone is so cool. the counselors are awesome. the murder game is called gotcha. it's where you pick a nickname. they take a picture of you. then you go around "killing" people by stabbing them with a paper knife. or you can "posion" them by taping a small posion onto their cup and they drink it. or you can put lipstick on (I never did of course), and kiss them on their hands. you get points for how many people you kill. in fact, that is how I met cool girls. one girl kissed my hand and killed me. it is really a fun game.

well, I wont comment on meeting the guys part. haha. but I am sure you will meet a lot of cool "people". who they are is up to you (wink wink)

Wen i went on the DCL, i was 13... I met so many peeps and I still talk to them (well actually one-- Alex! lol) Common Grounds was so much fun... the late nighter dances were a BLAST... I didnt play the "Gotcha" murder game but other ppl did and they said it was fun... I loved the 'make ur own movie' thing... one reason is cuz there was this really hot guy and we went to his room which happened to be one of the huge suites! I so cant wait till July 5th! Its gonna be so much fun!

I never really made the move thing. I dont think I had time or I just didnt want to get into it. I really like gotcha. that was cool. did you like the move thing?

You know the shows that they have at night? did anyone have one where there was this comidian? His name was Gary Delaina(sp?) he was so funny i might be going on the 3-day land/4-night cruise next august and i really hope that hes there!

I forget the name of the comedian but they were HILARIOUS! my fav show was Hercules the Muse-ical... that was so funny! Disney Dreams was great too!
