Cruise room upgrade using points??

I have receved 2 staterooms for a Wonder in 2 days. I called Dvc servics and was told that I would have to set up another reservation and pay the 95 dollars per stateroom fee again.
Anyone have any idea's or past experiences???

I would wait and see if you can upgrade at the port when you check in. If the ship is not sold out (chances are that it is not), you should be able to upgrade at a more reasonable price (and save your points). FYI - upgrades at port are cash only - you can not upgrade using points.

Thank you, thats what I thought.. dvc said I could not upgrade, I was willing to pay any difference but your rght, i should ask at port.
