cruise question, whats the difference between a reg verandah and navigators verandah?

all the cruise talk has had me looking at the disney cruise line a lot lately (even ran out to get a passport application the other day) I have cruised several times (RCCL and Princess) and I admit I need to have a balcony so I am wondering what the difference is with these two rooms on the DCL.

A regular verandah has a wood railing with plexiglass beneath. They are wide open.

The navigator's verandahs are at the back of the ship and are part of the structure of the ship. They have a metal wall below the railing and are semi enclosed. They have an oval opening in the wall of the ship.

There are far fewer Navigator's vereandahs.

Also, Navigator Verandah staterooms are only category 7 and only sleep 3 people maximum (they do not have the pull down bunk).

All other staterooms with verandahs are categories 1 - 6 and depending on the category and configuration sleep 4 people and up.

The Navigator Verandah stateroms have these really nice built in benches on both sides while other verandah staterooms have deck furniture (chairs and tables depedning on the size of the verandah.

The Navigators come with your own personal navigator.

The other verandas allow you to view the person that you just tossed overboard from the comfort of your deck chair.
