CRUISE NEWS...found this on the website

Sounds like I am in the minority but I hate the idea of jeans. Don't get me wrong, I wear jeans every single day but dressing for dinner wouldn't hurt anyone. Topsiders was always available for those who didn't want to dress up.

I agree.

This is such a casual world anymore. Every other vacation we've taken is shorts and T-shirts. So many workplaces are casual. The cruise is one place where we could actually 'escape' from the everyday life, and now it will feel more like 'everyday life' at mealtime if people who 'hate to dress up' become the norm, rather than the exception.

I guess I'm the exact opposite. I have to wear a business suit and heels every day for work. The last thing I want to do on vacation is dress up! Sounds like people like to do the opposite of what is normal at home.

No matter which way people prefer to dress on vacation it sounds like people who like to dress down have more flexibility in dining options(and not have to eat at the hot dog stand or Topsiders every night  ) and people who like to dress up still get to dress up and utilize all the restaurants.

If the boat is anything like this board it sounds like there will be a good mix of both on the boat too, so no one person will stand out if they want to dress down or dress up.
