I am going on the cruise for the first time and have some questions

1. Do you need to pay a departure tax at any of the stops during cruise?

2. Other than souveniers and items purchased at the Bahamas is there any other things I should know of so I can bring spending money???

3. Instead of the disney excursions can you go off on your own to do the same excursions from a place you find on line that may be cheaper??:pinkbounc

You do not pay any taxes at any ports.
Money for taxis if you are going to any excursions or leave the shopping district.
You can go anywhere you want when you leave the ship, just make sure you allow yourself enough time to get back.
We were on the 4 day last August, if you have any other questions please feel free to E-mail me. odin@dejazzd.com
We are going on the 7 day in 4 weeks, cann't wait.

Don't forget about all of the recommended gratuities. That is a big ticket item.

Also shipboard photos. They were our only expense outside of gratuities. We took a water taxi that was parked next the
ship to Pardise Island. I think it was just a few dollars per person each way. On our next cruise we are going to stay on
the ship when we dock in Nassau. It really offered nothing too exciting for us.
