cruise incentive question

We own at BLT and are seriously considering adding on 100 points there and getting the 3 night incentive cruise. The cruise can only be used Sept 2010 through Dec 2010 but it says there are blackout dates. Does anyone know what these are? Is it a cabin cat. 8 or 9 that you get? Also, do you have to close on the add-on before you can book the cruise? If so, how long would that take and what are the chances that there would still be availability for a cruise on a certain date? I have a call in to my DVC guide but have not heard back yet.

We recently purchased at BLT and received the 3 day cruise. The 3-night sail date ranges for us were: 8/27 - 9/24/2009; 10/22 - 12/17/2009; 1/7 - 2/11/2010; and 9/2 - 12/16/2010. I was able to book for this September (with the early dinner seating - Our October and November dates were already full for the first seating). And the cabin cat. is a 9.
