Hi! We have not been on a cruise since our honeymoon in Hawaii 15 years ago. We do not have children and are wondering if the Disney cruise is for us. We both absolutely love WDW and have heard wonderful things about Disney Cruise Line. I can get a great deal on the 7 night Western or Eastern in May and thought it would be a nice way to celebrate our anniversary.

Any thoughts from those of you that travel without children? What can we expect from the cruise.....also would you recommend the Eastern or Western itinerary?

We are 30-somethings and have a 14 yo DD. It's a lot like being a childless couple because it takes some effort to get her to hang out with us after she makes friends in CG's.

We found a lot for a couple to do... and many things we weren't able to do that we plan to do when we go back in May (when she will be 15). There is the spa, Palo, Quiet Cove pool, Beatstreet. We plan to sign up for the wine tasting and some of the Behind the Scene's things next time.

We loved the Western, particulary Grand Cayman. We are doing East next and hope we like it as much!

I am 30-something and hubby is 40-something...we are childless, and we have sailed Disney 28 times, with 7 more booked in 2003. As you can tell, I definitely think it has something to offer for childless adults! I have lots of trip reports on my website at www.castawayclub.com
Personally, I prefer the Western to the Eastern because I love the ports of call.

My parents (50+) cruised with us on DCL the last time and they booked again with us for November. THEY LOVED IT! They told everyone within shouting distance how incredible this cruise was when we got back from the last one. You should do it. There's nothing like Disney magic!

Oh boy! I am so ready to book NOW! Any recommendations when it comes to cruise companies to book through or do you book directly with Disney?

we r 30 something no kids u will love the cruise ..............
it is awesome... peter

DH is 30 and I am 28 and childfree. We love the DCL and think Disney does a great job of protecting the "adult only" areas of the ship. If you like WDW with no kids, you will love DCL!

DH (32) and I (30) did our first cruise on the Magic one year ago and LOVED LOVED LOVED it!!!!

I have a detailed trip report with tons of pictures on my website if you would like to see just how much fun we had :)

Just click on the link below and go to Trip Reports!

We booked with Dreams Unlimited, as many people on these boards do and they were fantastic!

We cruised this past summer without our kids. We were 30 & 33 at the time. It was wonderful!!! We only did the 3 day, but we still had a blast. I have a trip report posted(4 parts) on the trip report boards. If you want details you should be able to search for that(its probably a few pages down by now).

My boyfriend and I will be going for my 25th birthday (he's 31). I would looooove to read trip reports of childless couples. If anyone else has one, speak up, so I can search for your userid on the trip reports board!

Thanks so much.

Just packing for 2 weeks on board the Magic! No children travelling with us, and are WELL OVER 30!!! In fact, this is hubby's choice of venue to celebrate his 50th on board! Never a dull moment on the ship......... plenty to do for adults, and a wonderful experience. Have done the Eastern cruise in 2000 - and are looking forward to the Western also this time around. Daughter is a crew member, and says Cozumel is wonderful!
Dont miss your opportunity of cruising with Mickey and pals.............. Anyway, we are ALL BIG KIDS!

The cruise is great for young, old, with or without children, too. :)

I have always taken my teen DD's with me, but will be sailing in a couple of weeks with my BF, no teens this time! LOL!! Time for the big kids to play!
