Cruise Docs Questions

Ok, these are probably dumb questions, but . . . this is our first cruise and I everything I have read says to get your docs filled out prior to sailing. I have some questions, though. On the immigration form, I cannot fit Cape Canaveral in the boxes as the city where we boarded, is it ok to abbreviate? Also it is asking for intended stay. Does this count just Nassau or Castaway Cay also? It is also asking for accommodation, either hotel or intended address. Would that be the ship's name?
In the travel booklet, does DH and myself both need to fill out seperate payment authorization forms? And, why so many luggage tags? Does it matter which ones we use? We are just taking a large garment bag, large duffle bag and carry-on.
Sorry for all these crazy questions, but, my luck, I would fill something out wrong and be delayed!!! :earseek:

janet...thank you thank you thank you! I had these questions and had forgot to ask! I look forward to the answers....
what did you put for how you arrive in the Bahamas? private boat?

Anne

Janet.....just answer "Bahamas"......Intended stay is "Disney Wonder" or "Magic"......As far as authorization forms you just need one credit card per stateroom authorization....They allow 2 bags per sailor.....you will also be required to tag your "carry on".

I don't remember the immagration form being with my docs......We recieved one per sailor as we entered the lobby at port on our last 4 sailings....hhhmmmmmmmmm

Hi Anne!! I'm glad I'm not the only one!!! I actually wasn't sure about the type of accomodation either! I figure it will either be private boat or other. Maybe someone will know. Also, thanks LAMPSKIES for the info!!!

I chose "other" instead of private boat, my reasoning being that it is not "private", but rather a fare-charging commercial passenger vessel. Departure I filled in "PTCANAVERAL", or at least as many letters of that as I could fit. I think for length of stay I listed 1 night since we were pulling out that night. And if any of those answers are wrong, I don't get the feeling the Bahamian government is going to sweat it--since the immigration form doubles as a statistic and email collection form for the tourism board. :boat:
