Cruise discount, good deal or not?

I saw a discount of 1/2 off deposit for 7 day cruises. I've been trying to convince my dh that a summer European Disney cruise would be a good compromise family trip since he and our youngest want to do a Disney cruise and our older son wants to go to Europe. Is that a good deal?

It isn't discounting the total cost of the cruise at all so I don't view it as a "deal" at all. It's just allowing you to book the cruise and only pay 50% of the regular deposit now with the balance due at your PIF date.
