Cruise Check In

We will be checking in for our Norway cruise later this month. Two of our group live out of state. Will I be able to check everyone in if I have a photo of their passports and the headshot photo with the plain white background on my phone?

Also, is there any advantage to checking in at midnight other than getting a better selection for the port arrival time?

You'll also need an emergency contact for each, travel info, and payment info, though for that last one, it would probably be easiest to indicate cash accounts, then each party can go in later to edit that.

Checking at midnight-- main thing is choice of PAT. If it's at 30 days, option to book Princess Gathering.

Yes, thank you I've read the procedure but not sure if having the passport info and photos on my phone will be ok.

PAT arrival time doesn't seem critical to us if that's the only advantage to early arrival.

Yes, having them on your phone should work. I have checked in family members on a different cruise before.

If not worried about PAT, maybe no need to stay up until midnight.

Yes, you can do online check in from your phone. When you go into the app it'll redirect you to the mobile site on your phone (so it'll look very similar to if you were doing it on the computer). Just be sure you have the photos saved somewhere logical on your phone so that you can easily find them when prompted (this has gotten me in the past, I thought I knew where they were saved on my phone but when it came time to search my phone storage to upload them I couldn't find them).

The only benefit to checking in at midnight Eastern is to get the best PAT available. If that doesn't matter to you, save yourself the stress (and get more sleep, lol) and do it the next day.
