Cruise advice needed!

Does anyone know if you can change your dinner seating and add transfers to your booking after you have put your deposit down?

Thanks! :)

Just logged into my reservation fo next year, can't see any option to do this online but I am sure they will add transfers if you email or ring them. Same with changing dinner seating if availabilty they will change you, early seating which we always do fills up 1st usually.

You can definitely do both after you have booked. We have moved our seating a couple of times.

I am with you on the verandah - I too get claustrophobic and the thought of not being to get outside fills me with panic! We have a plexiglass verandah - I would much prefer this as you have a better view from your room.

You price seems good to me - remember that includes all entertainment, as much food as you can physically eat, and drink station drinks too. Happy planning :goodvibes

Hey guys,

need to ask a question to someone who has already booked a cruise with DU (Wayne?! ;) ).

I was asked to submit information such as passenger details and passport dates/numbers by email to them. I did this about a week ago now but I thought they would email back to confirm, do they do this or do I just assume they have?

Thanks! :thumbsup2

Must be something new Simon, I never had to give them any passport info. I would email them again and ask if they got it OK and its been added to your account. Whos dealing with it? We had Sue Ellen last time, great service from her. Not transferred next years yet.

Thanks Wayne! Strangly, just after posting the question here I recieved a welcome email from DCL with my rez no. so I can access my online services. It has both our names and our D.O.B so I assume DU must have provided these details to them. :confused3

I'll still email them to doble check.

We had to submit our information too, I can't remember if we had a confirmation, but yes, just check with your TA, although I'm sure they will contact you if they need any more info.

Just a heads up if you are checking your reservation directly on the Disney site, the date of birth can be the date of anyone in your room, it took me ages to work that out, I was assuming because I was logging in as myself and I made all the booking, it would be mine, but it is DH's.

Oh, you've just reminded me, I need to send off our details to DU - must admit, I'm not 100% comfortable sending this info (inc. passport numbers) over insecure email :confused3

We did our first cruise (5 nights) from the 6th - 11th July and loved, loved loved it.:goodvibes We booked a deluxe stateroom with verandah and for us was definitely the way to go. Although we didn't use the verandah all that often it just made the room feel so much more spacious (although they're still both kids to us, DS and DD are both tall adults, as are DH and I) and was lovely to step out on first thing in the morning, as we were entering and leaving port and just generally! Passport info etc has to be entered as part of your pre boarding info and while we booked with Disney direct, they also took that info, saving us entering it manually later on. We also got onboard credit which went towards our extra lattes, Palo and wine. Took advantage of the 5 night wine package at $139 for 5 bottles of very acceptable of wine. Corkage is $18 a bottle for your own. DS also made use of the ship's medical facilities (tonsillitis - now fine) which were also impressive if pricey ($191) but recoverable through insurance I'm sure when we get back in August.

In 1997 DS won a holiday to LA which has cost us a fortune in Disney holidays since. Reckon our new found love of cruising is about to do the same :lmao:

Enjoy! :thumbsup2
