I'd love for you wonderful folks out there to help me weigh out the pros/cons of CRT vs 1900 Park Fare for dinner.

Currently, I have reservations booked for both places, but DH won't let me keep both. We're on DDP, and will dine at California Grill if we select 1900 Park Fare (so its not an issue of 1 TS vs 2 TS or cost).

It's truly about the atmosphere. 1900 seems more entertaining (as in humor), while CRT seems more elegant. I've tried to discuss with DD, but she truly doesn't care if we're in the palace or not - so long as Cindy is there.

So in order to decide ... I'd love to hear which you would choose and why.

How old is your daughter?

Are you doing akershus to see all the princesses?

We did park fare dinner and crt lunch last Dec.

Liked park fare but my young DD was not keen on stepsisters (wouldn't have photo with them) CRT was definitely more special in atmosphere (although we hated the food!) and the benefit of lots of princesses if you are not doing akershus.

While I love Cali Grill & 1900 is good since your going with your daughter I would not pass up a chance to eat in the Castle. :worship:
:thumbsup2

I have never eaten at 1900 Park Fare. But we just returned from eating at the Castle and Akershus. The thing about the Castle is saying that you ate at THE CASTLE! Just once it's an experience. Once you do it, then you can go to other places the next trip. By the way, Akershus is awesome, too and I highly recommend it.

We did Akershus last year, and the menu just isn't to our likes. (Nothing was wrong with the food, we just aren't Norwegian eaters apparently.) We aren't breakfast people either. So really, our only Princess options were CRT and 1900 for lunch/dinner. (Plus, DH insisted we eat in France on our Epcot day anyway.)

DD is 8 this year. She is really only interested in Cindy, and will be content with palace/princesses or step-sisters. She just needs her Cindy fill! :) She'd be fine to play long with the step-sisters/mother, and would tease them (and probably offer for them to take DS4 to replace Cindy). So I know she'd have an absolute blast at either place. Just trying to get a feel for what others prefer so I can make my final decision. :thumbsup2

I think CRT has better food then 1900 PF, and if you want to see princesses besides Cinderella eat there. But if I had to choose, and skipping CRT meant getting to eat at CA Grill, I'd eat at 1900 Park Fare just to eat at CA Grill. And the step-sisters are really funny.
