CRT "special requests

First, let me say that I've never dined at CRT, although about 15 years ago I did have a reservation that I forgot about! When I booked our breakfast, the operator said soemthing about "special requests" such as sitting by the window and so forth could only be made that day. I never really gave much thought to any special requests, it would not have occured to me. But now that the seed has been planted....I'm wondering what you would recommend as a good place to sit and why? The chances of me coming back to this overpriced restaurant are slim, so I'd like to make the best of it. I got an 8:05 seating and our party size is 5.

Hmmm, interesting. We went there for a breakfast (8:15am) and when we got there they seemed to be seating people in particular order. All the window seats were full, then the next few rows in etc. I think they fill those seats first and in order because that is where the princess's start greeting tables. Does this make any sense? I thought special requests were food allergies, cakes, etc!

Thanks. Now that you mention it, it would make a lot more sense for "special requests" to be related to food, but the reservation specialist said these couldn't be made in advance? Wouldn't they want to know if they needed a gluten free meal, for example, in advance? But what she was referring to was seating.

What do you see from the window? Fantasyland or Main Street? Just curious...never been there.

A little bit of Fantasy Land, and The King's Herb Garden. It's nice, but nothing I'd consider "special". I got seated by the window once just because that's where the available tables were.
