CRT: some on DDP, some not...what to do?

We make our ADRs in January for our July trip. One of the ADRs is for CRT. I know this has to be paid in full with a credit card when you book. We are a party of 10 total. 4 of us are on the DDP and using the 2 TS credits for the CRT dinner. The other 6 are not on the DDP so will be paying OOP. How do I book online so that the 4 of us do not have to pay on the credit card but the rest of the party can? All 6 of theirs would be put on the same credit card. Is there any way to book this so that DH and I don't have to pay in advance and deal with getting reimbursed later?

I don't believe you can successfully book that online since you will have two forms of payment, or working with two or more resort reservations.

You would have to do this online. Since you are a large party, are you registered as a grand gathering or is the 10 for dinner a one time thing?

We're not registered as a Grand Gathering. The rest of our party is also staying onsite. We're staying at out DVC home, Boardwalk Villas. They are all staying at Pop Century, but they opted not to get the dining plan.

I believe you can only book up to 9 people in an online reservation. Even still, I think you have to pay with a credit card to secure the reservation (for your entire party) and then your credit card will be credited for the 4 of you on the DDP. If you call the ADR line, you might be able to use your Reservation # in lieu of a credit card. Worth a shot. Have a Magical trip!

I asked once about making a reservation for 10 people online, and someone here replied to me that they were able to make ADRs for a party of 10 online, and that if it is more than 10 people then you need to call the dining line.

I guess we can just put it on the credit card and then get reimbursed. I am worried there will be a problem though with Disney reimbursing us. Anyone have experience with this? I'm assuming they would give us a receipt or something of the sort in writing so that if there are any issues we can prove we used the dining plan credits for the meal.
