CRT Slipper message

I see from previous threads that a custom message is part of the chocolate slipper. Unfortunately, I'm not sure what to write and am looking for suggestions.

Background: We are heading out to WDW because it was our final gambit in the potty training process. It was intended to be the reward for being all done with diapers during the day (plus, she is so into princesses, I wanted to capture the opportunity before I can get her to move on to video games and D&D). We figured out the ideal week to go, only to realize after we booked it, that we would be out there for the week of our son's birthday. Some things changed in our schedule, and we are going a few weeks earlier, but we are going to celebrate his birthday anyway.

As it is easier to understand and celebrate a birthday than a personal triumph, I'm a bit worried that her celebration will get lost in the shuffle. As a result, I'm thinking of getting a slipper at CRT. I'd rather get a Jasmine slipper at our dinner at Akershus, but I'd rather limit my attempts to the realm of the possible.

I'm not sure what to get written. If left to my own devices, "You pooed in the potty!," would be the end result. But, I know this would be inappropriate. So, what should I get written? IF there is a character limit, her name has 9 characters.

All suggestions, reasonable or unreasonable, will be considered.

I don't know if there is a character limit or not, but how about something like "<name> is a Big Girl" if you really want something other than Congratulations.

"Way to go!" seems to fit this occasion perfectly. It's not very many characters so it should fit, it's ambiguous to the outside world but exactly captures what you're celebrating.

Now that I think about it more, "You Did It" or "You're a Big Girl Now" would be perfect!

The second would be great, if it will fit (I should just call and ask what the limit is). She has been proud about being big (she's also been demanding a lollipop - which is strange, since she never got those as potty prizes). But...

...I like sneaky. Now, is there anything that would be just a touch more inappropriate that I might be able to get away with?

I am not sure Disney would be amenable to an overtly potty-themed message.

I certainly doubt it. I'm just trying to think of something that feels a touch more personal than, "My sincerest felicitations on your recent success." It's finding that balance that has me thrown off.

I'm thinking that the Big Girl line or Way to Go! are going to be my best bets.

We went on a finally pottying trip for my DS and I had personalized menus made by Disney for the Coral Reef that said Way to go on the Potty.

You'd be surprised what they will do, I'd ask for exactly what you want and let them tell you the limitations. You will be paying a lot for this slipper it should be the slipper of your dreams!

I didn't realize that anyone could order the slipper- I thought it was just for a marriage proposal. Can someone tell me more? We will be at CRT for dinner in less than 3 weeks.

If there's room, you should put both messages - You're a big girl now! Way to go (on the potty)!
Or
Say goodbye to pull-ups (diapers?)
Great job putting poo in its place
We're proud of you big girl
You know where the poo goes

On a side note, I'm envious. It's been more than 2 years and my DD1 is FINALLY fully getting the hang of it. You and your SO should have a celebratory dinner/dessert out that evening as well - with a similar message at your table ("The money we're saving on diapers we're spending at Disney").

I must have dreamt about this last night because I work up thinking:

"Perfect Pooping Potty Princess"

How that one?

Just searched:

gives a pretty good explanation. There are photos if you search as well (scroll down to the bottom of the searches for thread specific options). Basically you need to call 407WDISNEY to reserve and it's around $15 - can be for any occasion. Looks extremely decadent but delicious. I wonder if you could get part of the dessert in a "to go" box...

1 is a little young to be potty trained, have you been trying since birth since you say for 2 years? My DD was barely 2 when she was fully trained.

If you look in heather's signature, she has two daughters, DD1 is 4 and a half, DD2 is 2 years old.

1) Maybe.
2) No one threw me a potty-training celebration.
Nope. Very real. I got no celebration either, but changing diapers just wasn't work ing for us as she's a tall girl. When you're out and about, it's hard to find a changing table that will accommodate a 40+" tall kid. Add in that she first started showing interest at 18 months, and the process ended up taking two years. On top of that, she loves the princesses like no kid I've ever met. It's one thing to refer to herself as Jasmine, but everybody has an assigned prince or princess, and if you forget who you are, she's more than happy to correct you.

Put everything together, and this became our justification for making a trip that we knew would be pricey.

As for the suggestions, I'm glad to hear that there has been success with direct reference to potty training - I wasn't even going to ask, but now I have a bit of hope.
