CRT ressies and dining plan

Question - how do CRT reservations work with the free dining plan? I made the reservations before I decided to go with the dining plan, and was charged a $25.00 deposit on my credit card (2 adults, 1 child). When I show up there, will they credit back my account and let me use the dining plan? Do they make you put down the deposit if you are on the dining plan?

Any help appreciated!

they should credit you back, but you need to let them know and then askfor the receipt. We are on dinning plan and did not have tomakethe deposit. We did use vouchers for charatcter meals last year though and made the deposit and then they credited it back when we paid with the voucher. Disney is ot real fast at credit backs, so ours did not show up for a couple weeks to our account.

You can call 407-wdw-dine and they will credit it to your cc now as long as you mention that you are on the dine plan. May be easier than waiting while your'e at the restaurant...be prepared with your res number in case they need to verify that you are on the dining plan though. They will still want a cc on file in case you cancel within the penalty period or no show, but won't charge it unless either of those two situations occur.
