Hi everyone! :wave2: I made reservations for six at CRT for my birthday next year but after reading several reviews I just don't think it will be worth the cost. So i'll make plans somewhere else. My question is this, when I made the reservations they made me pay ahead of time. It was almost 300 bucks! :scared: Does anyone know how long it will take for them to credit this back to my card? Thanks!

Have you cancelled yet?

You say it was for you? Have you ever eaten in the castle before? Was this for breakfast, lunch or dinner? Just think about it before you cancel. If you've never had a meal in the castle, I would reconsider.. My wife and I ate there for breakfast last year, and while the breakfast wasnt anything exciting at all, meeting all the princesses :lovestruc and eating in the castle is something I think everyone should do once :woohoo:

I agree with you and DON't think it is worth the cost. The food isn't worth $300 and the time you get to spend in the castle isn't worth it either. I have eaten there 3 times with my children for breakfast; perhaps it is better at other meals. Each time we had prime seating,too---right at the window in the center of the restaurant. The view was nice, but nothing spectacular.

I don't know how long it would take. I would call disney dining and try to find out and then keep a close eye on my credit card. I would think it would happen quickly once you have officially cancelled, though.

Good Luck!

Well I went there once when I was five and I don't remember much but then again I didn't have a taste for food back then either :rotfl: I just don't want to have to pay upfront because i'm going with friends I don't want them to feel pressured to reimburse me for so much.

Thanks :thumbsup2 I believe that at one time the food was probably okay and the atmosphere is great but now I keep hearing that they're just trying to get as many people in and out as quickly as possible.

Are you sure you PAID for the meal? I thought they just took a CC to guarantee your ressie.

Well, it's possible that they didn't but the CM told me that I would be charged because everyone wants a reservation there. They could have been wrong though...

No, they charge it up front if you are paying for it. If you are on the dining plan, you leave the cc as a guarantee.

I'm a little worried because I don't see anything credited...
