I'm hoping to get DD a ressie at BBB for as close to 8AM as possible on our MK day. I then thought it would be awesome to take her to breakfast in the castle. BUT the castle seems to get mixed reviews plus it's either pretty pricey OOP or takes 2 TS credits if we get the free dining this year. So I keep going back and forth if it's really worth it.

Our other option is to make a ressie at CP instead after her BBB appt. I know there are no princesses there, but we will be having breakfast at Akershus the next day so DD will have 1 princess meal regardless. We will be celebrating DD's 4th birthday even though we'll be there a few days shy of it. She loves princesses and lately started really liking Pooh and clan along with Mickey and clan.

We've done both and prefer the food at CP at breakfast. I prefer CRT for lunch. If you wanted to do a second princess meal, you could do 1900 Park Fare. Cindy, the Prince, Lady Tremaine, and the stepsisters are there at dinner. And it's only 1TS.

Thanks for the advice. The only issue with doing 1900 Park Fare is that we'd have to travel to GF (isn't that where it's located). I'm not sure how that works since we're staying at POP.

It's easy. We went to 1900 for dinner on a day when we were already at MK. We took the ferry over from MK to GF. Super, duper easy and a neat little ride. After dinner, we took the monorail from GF to MK (another neat, fast little ride) and then got on the bus from MK to POP. You do have to give yourself that transportation time, but it's not as difficult as it sounds. I forget how much itme we gave ourselves to get to GF from MK, but it was way, way too much. We checked in about 30 minutes early. My kids liked ther ferry and monorail and thought of them just as rides like the rest of the rides in the parks.

That sounds like fun and now you have me considering looking at other resorts to eat at during our trip :).

vote for CRT to date. We have done CRT, usually lunch, a few times. This past trip was the first time after a visit to BBB. She has always really enjoyed the castle, but I was surprised at how much more she got out of it this past trip.

I agree with the others that CP has better breakfast food which is why we usually do CRT for lunch. But CRT seems the right place to be when dressed as a princess.

I agree. Getting to the GF for 1900 Park Fare from the MK is very easy.

I personally think CP is better than CRT. Food seems better along with service. I prefer the buffet style as well and it is cheaper. CP is probably my favorite place to eat, we always go there for breakfast each trip.

Breakfast in the castle with the Princesses -vs- breakfast with Pooh Bear?

We'll take CRT anyday!

I also voted for CRT. Yes, it's expensive. True, you get more choice of food at CP but I find the CRT breakfast food to be quite delicious. But if your DD gets dolled up at BBB, what could possibly be more magical than eating inside the castle with all those lovely princesses?! Plus you get the pictures of your family with Cinderella (whether you want them or not:rolleyes:). Sounds like a wonderful morning/memory!

We ate at CRT for breakfast during our December trip and I really wasn't too impressed with it. We did love the fact that we were in the castle eating (that was really the main idea of being there) but I thought the food was lack luster at best for the amount of money they charge. We had eaten there once before back in 2005 and they had a much better breakfast. I really did not care for the egg mixture that they give you now, plus the princesses rush too much there. Our favorite Princess breakfast is at Akershus where the food is 100 times better and the character interaction is amazing. With that being said, I have voted for CP, even though we are eating there for breakfast for the first time in March. We did have dinner there once before and really enjoyed it, plus it has Winnie the Pooh and Friends, and as you can tell by my name, I am a Poohs fan :goodvibes

Oh, absolutely! Even if you don't do 1900 Park Fare, you should definitely not limit yourself. We stayed at Pop and relied only on Disney transportation. We ate at Chef Mickeys for dinner, 1900 Park Fare for dinner, Cape May Cafe for breakfast, and the Fort Wilderness Campground for the HDDR. The only one we had trouble with was our early morning breakfast at Cape May and that was my fault for not asking the bus driver. We should have taken a bus to DHS and either walked or taken the ferry to the Beach Club. Instead, I tried going to MK and thought we could get a bus back to the Beach Club at like 7am. We couldn't but we were incredibly lucky that a driver stopped his bus, got out and asked us what we were waiting for. I explained and told him that they told me at the Pop desk this was possible, he said it wasn't but got permission from dispatch to take us to the Beach Club. We got there in plenty of time and that driver was so wonderful and full of Disney Magic!

It was really nice to see so many different resorts. My kids loved checking out the gift shops in each, lol. It was cool to see the different theming and everything.

Ditto above

We love the buffet at CP.

If you have NEVER done Cindy's - then it may be worth the $$$'s to try once.
We have been to Cindy's and we are done.
Cindy's views from the window are wonderful of MK.
The food is OK and the kids can get there own 'kid' plates.

But we also love the Princess breakfast in Norway and the dinner at 1900 Park Faire - where we have ADR's for both on our next WDW adventure. :goodvibes

I think we'll do 1900 Park Fare for dinner our MK day and Akershus breakfast our Epcot day!!! Maybe we'll try CRT one day when DD's a little older.

I think you have to try CRT at least once...there is nothing like eating at the castle. We went there for my birthday and my son was 2 1/2 yrs old and he loved eating at the castle. When we went for his 3rd birthday he asked if he can eat at the castle like mommy birthday but of course I couldn't get reservation for breakfast so we didn't. Ever trip we go he asked if we can have breakfast at the castle again. I told him one day. Food was ok but it was a good memory for him. He loved the attention he got from all the princesses especially Cinderella. Great photo opporturnities when we went. I would go during lunch/dinner but nothing he would like to eat off the menu.
