My daughters 5th birthday we are going to do everything princess...Do we do CRT or 1900 Park Fare. It will be either lunch or dinner...Can you see wishes from either one of those? Please make up my mind!princess:

They are each very different.
CRT - lunch has various princesses that come around the room...and you are eating IN THE CASTLE :cloud9:
CRT - dinner has Cinderella in the lobby for pictures and the Fairy Godmother and mice that do a show in the center of the room (do not come around to each table)...but you are IN THE CASTLE :cloud9:
1900 Park Fare does not do lunch, only breakfast and dinner. Dinner has Cinderella, Prince Charming, the wicked stepmother, and stepsisters (Anastasia and Drizella).
I have eaten breakfast at CRT and  it. We have lunch reservations this year and I am anxious to see what it is like. We also have dinner reservations at 1900 Park Fare and I am very excited! I have heard that the stepsisters are hilarious and put on a great show! :rotfl:
Good luck!

I agree with Kellig's post.. but just to add my opinion...you can not see wishes from either restaurant...so that should not influence your decision. I am doing CRT for dinner for my 8 year old son..we will be in the MK for the day of his B'day and eating in the castle is special no matter what. The atmosphere is great whether or not the princesses walk around during the meal. We did the breakfast 3 years ago and my kiddies loved that, as well. I am returning in August and we are also doing 1900 Park Fare for dinner but not on his birthday.

I would do CRT just because it's the castle. I have a 2 year old and haven't been yet to either place. We are going back in two years when seh turns 4 and plan on doing both.

We plan on doing BBB and then CRT for lunch. Then another day doing PSB at Epcot in Norway for dinner.

If you're looking for all things princess, don't forget Princess Storybook Dining at Akershus in Epcot. It's right up there with CRT for the princess experience. Obviously, the location of CRT is *the* best - there's no substitute for the castle. However, at PSD, you get 5 princess (or leading ladies) in a very Royal setting for less money. It's also only 1 TS credit on the dining plan , so you can do PSD and 1900PF for the same credits as CRT (which is 2 TS credits). Last, but not least, the ADRs at those places are considerably easier to get than CRT.

Are you also considering the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique?

Yes, I'm a grown man whose primary purpose in life is to round up princesses for my daughter. Somebody help me.

Food and ambience wise we love CRT. In terms of the characters we really like winnie the pooh and friends so I would pick crt but if Cindy, Prince and evil stepsisters are your kids fav then I say 1900 park fare.

On my DD's 5th birthday we did PSB for breakfast and CRT for lunch.

On our last trip, we did 1900 Park Faire.

They were all fantastic "princessy" experiences so you really can't go wrong.

Having an early ADR at PSB is really neat since you can get into the park while its empty. You get the castle feel, the food was decent and the characters were really great. We had Belle (who greeted at the entrance), Snow White, Jasmine, Princess Aurora and Mulan.

Now, as others have said, you can't beat eating in the castle and I think everyone should do it once. The food was good and the views can't be beat. Cinderella greeted us at the entrance and Belle (in her blue dress), Snow White, Fairy Godmother were going table to table.

1900 Park Faire was a great time for our family! My husband got the biggest kick out of the Stepsisters (remember not to call them wicked...) and Lady Tremaine. This meal also had Prince Charming going table to table with Cinderella - can't beat that. The food was decent.

So either way you chose it will be great!

Yes we are doing BBB....I am thinking maybe CRT for lunch and maybe try 1900 for dinner?
Or do you think that will be to much?

CRT lunch is awsome!! I will be eating there in July for my birthday.

I have a feeling your daughter won't think it's too much. ;)

However, my philosophy is that it's better to give the "special" events a little room to be appreciated and remembered. CRT for lunch (perhaps after BBB?) is probably enough to put a 5yo princess on cloud 9 for at least the rest of the day. Can you do 1900 PF on a different night, or is this a one shot deal?

The bottom line is that any of these things in any combination are very likely to make for an amazing 5th birthday. You really can't lose. :thumbsup2

It does sound like a lot, but we are doing all of these plus the Princess Storybook breakfast at Epcot. I have broken up our week and we are doing the following:
*Sunday - PSB @ Epcot
*Monday - BBB, CRT-lunch and P&P Party
*Friday - 1900 Park Fare for dinner
Good luck with your decision! I know we will have a great time!

I plan on doing all of these and then doing the Princess tea party too while DH and DS are at Disney Quest! Now is that too much. LOL

Sunday- BBB and CRT for lunch
Wednesday- Princess tea partyand 1900 Park Fare for dinner
Friday- PSB @ Epcot

Now is THAT too much! :confused3 :rolleyes1

If I had to choose one I'd choose CRT dinner as it's your daughter's 5th birthday. It's extra special being in the castle :)

Not too much at all, I'm sure your daughter would be thrilled!

Wow, that's the whole shebang! It might be too much for me, but at least you're spreading it out.
