We are going to Disney just a few days shy of DD's 4th birthday so it's all about HER! I need to pick either CRT or 1900 Park Fare for our MK day. My plan is to get ressies at BBB as close to 8AM as possible. I already know that we'll do Akershus breakfast the next day so I don't want to do CRT breakfast. I think eating in the castle would be awesome, but the character interaction (from the you tube videos I've watched) at 1900 Park Fare seems awesome! Which would you pick for a 4 year old?

Also, would it be really weird for DD to wear a Belle dress to either of these...lol?

I have to admit that our favorite was 1900 Park Fare as we have done it twice now. However, eating at the castle was magical and I think your daughter would love it. We have only done it once because our first time was so magical I just know it won't be the same ever again and I don't want to be disappointed with it. Now the food was not as good at the castle but I think the atmosphere made up for the just so-so food. There are always all kinds of princesses in either place so "Belle" will be appropriate dressed for her magical dining experience.

I should probably add that we're only going for 3 nights, so another perk to eating in the castle is that we wouldn't have to leave the park. We're only spending one day at each park we go to and will not have park hoppers.

we actually just did both in october. we did crt for lunch with dd4 dressed as ariel-sadly she was off that day. i loved it for the expereince of eating in the castle. the kids didnt really react. altho we werent seated at the windows we were lucky to be the first table the princesses all stopped at when they were announced. also cindy was only there downstairs for pics and not at the lunch. plus i found then to be very rushed. i mean i know turnover is quick etc, but at all the other meals we seem to have had more time with any chrarcgter.

we did dinner at 1900 on our last evening as our anniversary dinner with the kids. princy was kinda pasty and scary looking! lol but the interaction was great and cindy remembered dd from her pics with her the other day- didnt seem to mean anything to dd, but it meant a lot to me. the interaction was great, and the food really good-esp the strawberry soup! the only thing i didnt like as i said to dh the other nite was we werent in the "main room" but the room off to the side so we got forgotten about at times. lady tremain passed by us twice so i asked our server and she siad she'd arrange it. well there still was a mistake as she came back to this side room and went to the few that were left in here but us. i mean i didnt freak out, just wanted to get the entire experience of the kids meeting all the chracters, esp. since at that time we didnt expect to go back in 6 months! lol still it was a memorable last evening. and they do interact a lot with the kiddos, ive seen it first hand.

so theres both sides- but in mho i'd book 1900 park fare. and then you can also squeeze in looking at the gf, maybe a jaunt to the wedding pavillion(caught a wedding there one year) and basin is upstairs as you come in from the monorail! that was even more worth it for me....sadly we dont have basin in canada. but i digress! lol

You guys are killing me. It should be easy for me to just pick the one that has the majority of votes, but it's not...lol. I just wish we could eat at both places, but I'm not sure I can justify it with CRT taking 2 TS credits and us only going to DW for 3 nights :). CRT would be much easier since we wouldn't have to leave the park, and I keep wondering once we've been at the park all day long if we'll even want to leave to travel to another resort to eat. I guess it's great that I have enough time to plan accordingly.

lol sorry i didnt even do the poll! oen good thingg tho about 1900 park fare- its only at the gf, you can get on the monorail and be there fairly quickly. i beleive(from memory now!) that it actually takes you away from it and you do the loop through the contemporary and then around by the poly to get to it. but its not that long really.

side note- i didnt find the food particuallary great at crt. i dont think my kids did either. altho i am fussy! the desserts were yummy tho.

Thanks. I've also been told I can take a boat to GF and that it might be quicker. It's not like we won't be back. We only live 4 hours away, so I have no idea why I think we must do everything :).
