CRT.. less people than on ADR

Wondering what happens if we end up with less people than we made the ADR for. Family members now not going, do I have to cancel the whole reservation so I don’t get charged for them? I know normally as long as anyone shows up, you’re not penalized. I just don’t know how it works with a prepaid meal. Thanks!

Try calling to request a reduction. If that doesn't work, just show up. You will most likely be refunded for the ones that didn't show up. When it happened for us, they refunded it to a Disney gift card, but that's been while.

Responding to update in case anyone is interested. Our dinner was tonight. I had tried calling to ask for an adjustment in the number of guests, but I couldn’t wait for hours on end & never got thru. I asked at the front desk at the Riviera on Thursday, the CM said he would work on it for me. He took my phone number & sent me on my way. A few hours later, he called me & said he had called CRT directly & was told I would be refunded for the guests who couldn’t come.

We had no problem today. I told them there were only going to be 2 of us when I checked in. They just had to adjust the table size but we were seated within minutes of check in. The waitress adjusted the check for the correct number of guests & applied my AP discount. The amount was refunded directly to my credit card. The waitress wasn’t phased at all, so I assume this is not an unusual occurrence.
