CRT French Toast

Hi all, I am still dreaming about something we had at CRT breakfast over a year ago. I have a picture of it but can't figure out how to upload. It was kind of like a deep fried dough with a cream cheese filling and a type of blueberry sauce. Then sprinkled with sugar. It was heavenly. The only recipe on allears that I can imagine it would be is the french toast. Does anyone know what I am talking about? Do you have a recipe? Would it be the one on allears? That recipe said it was a cheese danish, battered and then fried. I don't really know what a cheese danish is though! How do you make that?!??! I have seen danishes in the store but I'm not sure it's what Disney would be battering and frying! Anyway, if anyone knows what I'm talking about please let me know. I have seriously been thinking about it for 16 months. Or if you need to see a picture, let me know how to upload! Thanks for your help...maybe one day I'll be able to make it for myself!

Cheese danish is a danish with a sweet cream cheese filling instead of fruit filling. They have them at many local bakeries where I live (Brooklyn, NY). I never made them before though. There is a good website to get some great recipes, allrecipes.com. You can go onto that site and type cheese danish into the search and see what it comes up with. I always sort recipes by rating when I look for something there. You could also try foodnetwork.com. I know Entenmann's makes cheese danish, but not sure how good they taste. If you have a bakery near you that sells danish, maybe go inside and ask them if they make cheese danish. For the record, cheese danish are delicious!!! And that french toast sounds heavenly!

Thank you so much for the reply! Based on your description, I think I am definitely on the right track! Sounds yummy! I am going to check out a local bakery for them and give it a try! I'm sure it'll be calorie free...
