CRT for lunch or dinner?

We currently have an ADR for CRT dinner which will have FGM & no princesses. We also have a dinner ADR for 1900 PF which will only have Cinderella as a princess as well.

I'm looking for opinions on if we should change to CRT lunch (if possible), since my DD5 is really into the princesses right now. How is the interaction, & would it be worth it to try and change?

Thanks!

Have you though about adding an ADR at Ackerhaus in the Norway pavillion in Epcot? They serve Breakfast, lunch and dinner and the princess interaction is GREAT there! Last time we went we saw cinderella, Belle, Snow White, Ariel and Mulan at breakfast. We have been to all 3 with my DD7 and she loves them all! They really are different experiences at all three. :)

Thanks for the suggestion, but we did the princess dinner in Norway last time. (I suppose I should've mentioned that) It was a great experience, but we were looking to try something different this time. Also, because of our arrival/departure times I needed to use a '2' credit meal somewhere or we'd have extra. :)

I would stick with the dinner then. It would be a different experience, and IMO the interaction with the princesses at CRT is rushed. There will be plenty of other opportunities to meet the princesses in World Showcase while you are touring Epcot. You might try calling Disney Dining to see if it is even a possibility, at this point you might not be able to get a lunch reservation. Here is some pixie dust in case you do try to change. pixiedust:pixiedust:

We did CRT for lunch and felt the interaction was good... we saw each princess and each offered a photo-op.

We've gone twice for lunch, and to be honest, it is such a FANTASTIC mid-day break, in the a/c, great food, gorgeous princesses, so magical for the kids and really good food for the adults! I definitely vote for lunch! :) Christy:goodvibes

I've read that all of the meals at CRT will have princesses after mid-February. When are you going?

we went to arkerus and enjoyed it.
we went to crt for dinner...at the timeof booking I didn't realize no princesses but we enjoyed the fairy godmother "show" it was great.

we are trying lunch this time but I wouldn't heitate to do dinner again.

At CRT dinner, you still get a brief encounter and photo taken with Cinderella before you go to dinner. We had a window seat over Fantasyland so it was quite nice as well.

Is that true? Where did you read that?

We did both the CRT dinner and the 1900 dinner last year. We enjoyed both alot! Being that you leave in 22 days according to your ticker, my guess is that it wil lbe next to impossible to get it changed anyways.

As nice as it is to see ALL of the princesses, the dinner is magical in its own way. Look at it this way: After the changeover, you will never be able to experience that dinner like that again. I say go and enjoy. Be sure to get back to the Toontown hall of fame to meet the other princesses. Belle (in her yellow), Cinderella and or Aurora will be there. Snow White can be found around the Main Street hub most mornings. If you don't see her, ask someone. Belle (in her blue) can also be found for photos after her storytime shows.

The dinner has a cute (but short) show with the Fairy Godmother and mice dancing about the room. I really think you should go. Cinderella is in the lobby for photos before. There will be plenty of princess-only meals on your next trip!

Beginning Feb. 7, 2010, Fairytale Dining is the new name for the Character dining experience for breakfast, lunch, and dinner at Cinderella's Royal Table. (There no longer will be specific names – such as "Once Upon a Time Breakfast" and "A Fairytale Lunch." The current pricing will remain in effect. Reservations are now available.

In this Fairytale Dining experience, Guests will have a photo opportunity with Cinderella in the castle lobby, as she welcomes all to the feast at Cinderella's Royal Table. Cinderella's Royal Friends, the Disney Princesses, will mingle with Guests as they dine.

loves seeing the princesses at CRT. We have done lunch three times. If you can find a spot at lunch, I would make the switch.
