The only time I was able to book CRT for our vacation was a dinner. My kids aren't necessarily crazy about Cinderella, or any other specific character for that matter, so the fact that all of the princesses aren't there really doesn't make a difference. I just thought a meal in the castle would be neat. I have never eaten there before and was wondering whether eating in the castle is worth the extra TS credit or what? :confused3

In my opinion eating in the Castle in the MK is Awesome. :thumbsup2:worship:
I ahve done bk & dinner here many of times and love it. It is so worth it.

I think eating in the castle is a must-do at least once in your lifetime.

I have a DS so meeting the Princesses was not something that was going to happen, so I booked the dinner. We were very surprised at the quality of the dinner and rank it right there with other 2 TS credit restaurants.

Here are some pictures of our meals
Appetizers
BLT Salad – Applewood Smoked Bacon, tomato, egg, red onion and quarter wedge of Iceberg lettuce drizzled with roasted shallot vinaigrette

Thanks for the quick replies. I was getting worried because all of the raving it seems is for breakfast or lunch because of the characters there, and no one seems to say a lot about the dinner. Like I said, my kids like all the characters and have loved every character meal they have ever been at. The way I look at it, they have a few other character meals this trip therefore lots of chances to see characters. A meal in the castle is just something we have never done.

BTW, the food looks great!

We've had dinner at the Castle twice in the last couple of years...is it worth it? Darn straight...it's a CASTLE!!! We've enjoyed the food and atmosphere...I'm 63, don't care about the Princesses (much), and it just makes me feel good to be there!

We had lunch at CRT last year. My DDs still get excited when they see the castle come up at the beginning of a Disney movie. They will smile and say "I've been there" or "I've eaten there", etc. to anyone that will listen. But they can't tell you if they liked the food - that part they just don't remember. :)

So, I'd say it's worth it to do. . at least once. To be "in" the castle, regardless of what characters are there.

We went to Askershush also, and they loved the food there. But it is the castle that still excites them, and that they have asked to revisit this year.

Enjoy.

We had lunch in the Castle and I thought it was a great experience. My kids-even though they are still young, are not real big on the characters. However they really enjoyed eating in the Castle and was one of the highlights of that trip.

We really are not fans of the Castle food but we HAVE to eat in the castle for every trip! :lovestruc

If you have not done it before than it is a MUST :goodvibes

we've been there twice, once for brkfst and once for dinner. Don't remember the food much but the atmosphere and being in the castle is a must! For characters you get princesses for brkst and lunch, fairy Godmother and mice show for dinner...kids, no kids, princesses, princes, it doesn't matter, it's a must!princess:
