CRT Deposit

Hi,

I am hoping to book CRT for lunch on the final day of my two-week DisneyWorld trip in June/July '09.

Now, I am staying on Disney property, so I know that I can book it 180 + 10 days out. However, I am wanting to book for seven people and it's a busy time, so there is a risk that I won't get the booking.

So, one contingency plan might be that on the very first day that I can book, that is 180 days before the start of the entire holiday, I book CRT for one of the days that I can book - any day. And then I try again to book it for the day I really want, and if I succeed, cancel the earlier reservation.

My question is - can I do this and keep my original deposit?

The original res would be cancelled and refunded completely. Thats how the dining system works right now. Maybe the new one will be differant and can transfer dates/deposits but noone knows even when it will be done. Right now you would basically be cancelling and making a whole new res

the 180+10 ADRs now for the three restaurants? I've seen at least a couple of threads where people called and told they couldn't do that.

If no one knows definitively I'll know soon enough. My 180 for check is the 24th.
