CRT - Breakfast or Dinner?

I managed to get an 8:00am breakfast reservation and an 8:15pm dinner reservation for June 18, our 2nd park day, but 1st MK day. I keep going back and forth on which one I should keep. We are on the dining plan, so I know the "value" is better for dinner. My original plan was to get the coveted PPO ADR, but with the change of allowing guests onto Main St. prior to park open, I don't know if it's quite as worth it anymore. Also, Wishes is currently scheduled for 9:00. I know the hours will probably change, but I don't know if the fireworks time will change along with that. This is our first visit to WDW and we will definitely catch Wishes another night from outside, as I've read you don't get a great view during dinner, but I still think it'd be pretty neat to be in the castle and see some fireworks out the window. We are a party of 3; myself, DH & DS9. It's me who wants to eat in the castle and my guys are humoring me.

So, if you had to choose, would you rather have breakfast or dinner at CRT?

I would do dinner at the castle and PPO breakfast at BoG with a CS credit. BoG is quick and it puts you in the prime location for riding 7DMT at least once if not twice before the rope drop people are let through. Then you can do Peter Pan and the rest of Fantasyland and most of Tomorrowland with little to no crowds. CRT is an experience and I'd hate to rush it to get out of there by 9am OR miss out on rope drop touring.

I would keep on looking for an earlier CRT ADR. Just so you can see Wishes from outside. Unless you are right by the window- you will not see much.

We loved dinner there- we also used the dining plan. It was for my DD's 11th birthday.
Also, they tend to run behind and you wait to take a picture with Cinderella before they seat you.

But, I also like to watch Wishes every single night we are at the MK. :)

We have done both.

Breakfast was good/fun, but we definitely felt rushed to get out to the park (more our doing than CRT staff).

I would opt for dinner, but I would try to get something earlier. Wishes is worth watching from outside the castle. As another post said, there are few windows and your chances of being able to see out are slim. We sat at a window table overlooking the carousel and even seated right at the window we kind of had to stand/lean to see outside.
