CRT Breakfast & Little Ones Magic Hour

We had originally booked our ADR for breakfast on a non-EMH because we like walking up main street without the crowds and finishing breakfast before the rope drops at Fantasy Land. Now Disney is offering the Little Ones MH and it happens to be the day of my ADR. So much for advanced planning on my part. I have tried to change my ADR but nothing is available the week we are there. Should I keep trying? What are the chances that there will be a cancellation as it gets closer to our vacation?

I am now in the same dilemma with my 8:05 a.m. Crystal Palace reservations. We might still go, but it won't be the same empty Main St. It also kind of defeats the purpose of being in the park ahead of everyone else to hit the rides first.
