CRT Breakfast, how hard to get these days?

My daughter and I are going to break off from dh and ds one day for a girls only day at the MK. She really wants to do CRT for breakfast. She will be 11 by then, this is probably my last chance sad1: ) to do this when she is still young enough to really get into it. We haven't been to CRT since the days when it was not 2ts credits and they added Cinderella to lunch and dinner. Our trip is in October (the very last Saturday to be exact) and I am just wondering if anyone who has done this recently can give me their experience of booking. I will be calling 180 days out on the dot! In fact, I'll be calling before the 180 mark for this one since our trip starts a few days before.

it's not as hard, but for your benefit, pretend it is.

i've heard and seen a few confirmations that CRT can't be booked more than 180 days out period. not sure if it's true or not, but try and just don't get disheartened if you can't get it at first. you really should have no problem exactly 180 days out.

Well when I call to make my ADRS 180 days out from my first day which is two days before my hopeful CRT gig, I'll ask them if I can. If not, I'll just call back two days later! I really hate to use up two ts credits each but what the heck, your little girl is only little once. And mine isn't even that little anymore which makes me want to do that much more!

We recently were able to get CRT breakfast ressies for August 6th at about 132 days out...and there were a couple other options for our week when we called.

Your daughter will love it!!! My daughter celebrated her 21st birthday at the castle and we both had a great time. The picture with Cinderella is priceless. I chose to pay out of pocket and save the TS credits for later. Have fun!

I called 180 days out before my arrival date to book CRT (before noon, but not 7am). I wanted to take advantage of the 180 + 10 and book it on our 5th day of the vacation - the CM said that there were none available (lunch), but that they only release 25% of the tables for the "+10 folks" and keep 75% for the "exactly 180 days out folks". So he said call back in 5 days and you should be able to get it...I will find out Saturday.

I just called on Sunday evening and had no problem booking an ADR for Sat Sept. 22 at 9:30 for 6 people. And keep in mind, this res is during free dining.

Thanks so much everyone! Another question, do you have to give them your credit card number even if you plan on using the DDP and do they go ahead and charge it anyway? Last time I did this, I didn't have the DDP and its been a few years. But I do remember that my cc was billed ahead of time. Just wonder how it works with the DDP.

I just booked our dining reservations for the last week of August and was shocked that I was able to choose from a few different CRT breakfast dates/times. My DD is so thrilled that I'm taking her to the castle because we have only done Princess storybook meals in the past. I am using the dining plan and the CM told me that I didn't have to prepay for the meal, I just had to give a CC# for cancellation insurance. I'm actually planning to pay OP but the CM told me not to say that and to just pay cash when we go to the meal.

2 days ago I booked CRT for the first week in Sept, and I had 4-5 times to choose from. We went in 2005 while on the dining plan and had to give a cc number that would only be charged if we didn't show up. I don't have the dining plan yet so I had to pay in full when I booked this week. I'm hoping to get the free dining tomorrow and a refund on my cc. Good luck.

i JUST got off the phone with dining, and I was able to make a breakfast ressie for 8:55AM on 9/4 !! Was hoping for something before the park opened, and I got it! woo hooo!!! guess it's not as hard as it used to be

Just booked for party of 7 - Cindy's breakfast 180 days out today. Even waited an hour after the ressie line opened and pretty much could pick any time. I also had the CM check for the prior day and same result - had my chice of morning times. On DDP so only had to give CC for holding purposes.

OP - end of October? Give a call at some point on the 180 day mark and you should be able to get it. Good luck and have fun planning!

you can definitely get a CRT ressie before 180 days. At least for lunch, as we called at exactly 180 days before our spring break trip and were able to book for noon on the last day of our trip.

I had no trouble getting CRT for breakfast at about 160 days out in July. I had my choice of days and times.
