CRT and fireworks, worth it?

My friends and I are considering a dinner at CRT during our trip this fall. We're not particularly princess fans - we're more interested in the novelty of eating inside the castle (the photos I've seen online look pretty!), and the concept of watching the fireworks from a very unique vantage point. Considering our reasoning, do you think it's worth the cost? And what would be the ideal window of time for a reservation (like, 1 hour before the show starts, etc)? Thanks for any insight you guys can provide!

I like CRT and found that eating in the Castle ius a special experience, but I would not do so in order to see the Fireworks from that vantage point. I think that an hour is not enough of a window of time to be sure you are in and seated though. CRT can run behind, IIRC.

Yeah, don't plan to see fireworks from inside. You can't. The windows are small or stained glass so the most you can see are flashes of light.
It's worth eating there and coming out and watching Wishes from behind the castle but that could change by fall with the change in the fireworks show that is coming at the start of summer.
I think I would change to eating an early dinner vs. late. Or better, check out Breakfast. It's the least expensive meal (or at least always has been)

We have seen the MK fireworks many times, so we decided to take a chance last summer and booked a late CRT reservation to celebrate DD's
Sweet 16. I have to say it was quite magical! Granted... you cannot really "see" the fireworks, but you can see explosions of color outside the stained glass windows. They piped in the music and dimmed the lights. I wouldn't choose to view the fireworks here as a true alternative to viewing them outside. However, we found it to be a very special experience! My daughter was in tears!

I believe we booked a table for 1.25 hours prior to the fireworks, and the timing was perfect. (This was summer, so our reservation was at 8:45 for 10 p.m. fireworks.)

Thank you for the tips and insight! Looking over my original post, I think I may have misspoke; we don't necessarily need to see the entire fireworks show, it's more that we're interested in experiencing the uniqueness of being in the castle while the fireworks are going on :)

That's a different question. I think it would be magical

I understood you! Yes... it is definitely magical!!!

Slightly different twist. We have reservations in April for 6:55pm. Will we be finished in time to be able to find a spot to watch Wishes at 9:00pm? If so any suggestions on where to go to see them?

Thanks
