We currently have ADRs for all of these meals, lunch at CRT and dinners at 1900 and Akershus. I am starting to think it's too much.

Which 1 or 2 should we cut out? We are on the regular DDP, but not so concerned with paying OOP if it's worth it.

DS and DD are 3.4 years old and love most characters. I think we should keep 1900 dinner, but not sure about the other 2.

Thanks!!

:love:We were in Disney August 21-28 and upgraded the free regular dining to deluxe...our kids are 13 & 14 and we ate at a character/buffet almost everyday. We did Donald's Breakfastosaurus, Crystal Palace Breakfast, CRT for Breakfast, Askherhous for Breakfast, Chef Mickey's for dinner, and O'Hana for breakfast on our last day. My kids loved all the food and they were still excited to have pictures taken with the characters/princesses...it was worth every minute.

We did all three in one week. If I had to cut one, I'd cut Akershus. Although it's not always this way, we saw the exact same characters at CRT & Akershus that week. 1900 PF was our favorite of the three.

I think it's probably too much. I contemplated doing two for our 4 night trip, but decided to only go to CRT.

We did all 3 on our January trip but they were for breakfast. We loved all of them. Maybe switch one to breakfast instead but really I don't think you can have too many character meals when you have young kids. Our DD5 loved all of them :lovestruc We will suffer the sub par food for the character experience :lmao: What parents will do for their kids ;)

I've only done Akershus and it was great. I have been trying to get 1900PF also. I was worried about my kids noticing the difference in the princesses if we did all 3. I have DD9 and DD7. They think that the princesses are definately "real". And I would like to keep it that way for a little while longer.:wizard:

Last year DD was 3.5 (this year she'll be three months away from 5) and we did all three and are doing all three!!!!! I had as much fun at each and they're all a tad bit different experience!!!!!!!!!!

Have done them all so am qualified to comment:

Best Food: 1900 (by a wide margin), CRT, Aker

Best Exposure to Characters and Princesses: Aker, 1900, CRT (too crowded/hectic)

Best Show: 1900 (step sisters and mother are priceless), others are tied for 2nd

Best Atmosphere: CRT (eating in the castle), Aker, 1900 (absolutely nothing special about the room)

Overall:
1) 1900 is a great value on DDP for 1ts credit - the lack of ambiance of the room is somewhat offset by visiting the GF
2)Aker - the free picture session with Belle, and the non rushed visits by the princesses in a restaurant that is nicely themed and doesnt feel crowded is great - the food is certainly not great, but only 1 ts credit
3) CRT - certainly dining in the castle is a neat experience - other than that, I think there was alot of downside (2ts credits, crowded feeling with tables up against each other, food was fine but no where near 2ts quality)

While I rank CRT 3rd, I'd certainly recommend going at some point just for the experience, and if you can fit it in with ts credits, I personally do not think that you have too many princess/character meals.
