I was just able to book a Be Our Guest lunch reservation for April 9th which is only 57 days away... is that just luck or do you think that's an indication that the crowds maybe lower that day? I'm hoping that week is a dip in the spring break weeks but not sure.

BOG is hit or miss. We booked it a day before after not being able to find any open reservations 180 days out.

There will definitely be a dip in crowds from the craziness of March break/Easter. That's over a week after Easter Sunday.

That said Disney is never exactly empty in March/April. Just not insanely packed like it can be during Easter/Spring break. It will be the best of the worst :)

I tend to book more ADRs than I will probably use, and cancel the ones I don't need as I firm up plans.

Since that's close to 60 days, I wouldn't be surprised if someone changed ADRs after firming up their plans when booking their FPs.

Luck. I've picked up and dropped so many times since it opened.

I have even done both the week of a stay.

:tink:Just clicked at the right time.

FWIW, we were at WDW last week. When I booked our FPs 30 days out, there were a ton of FPs for every ride - nothing was taken. I thought "Great, the parks will be empty."

Epcot was more crowded than I had ever seen it. DHS was crowded as well. MK crowds were about the same as the other times we had been. For comparison, the other times we have been recently was the week after Thanksgiving 2016 and Feb-Mar 2016.
