We are going to Disney World in mid-July. Can someone tell me how the crowds are in July or what to expect. Also, what is the weather in Orlando like in mid-July. I know that it's gonna be hot but how hot? Is the humidity unbearable? I'm from Texas so I'm pretty used to 100 plus degree heat in the summer. Is it better to bring bottled water w/me from home or buy it out there at the parks?

i have family in houston so i have been there in july and if you can stand living there LOL than you should be fine in disney in july.. we will never go to disney in the summer again... but i will also never go to texas in the summer either....TOO HOT for this new york girl LOL.. the crowds are pretty bad in the summer also. if you bring water i would freeze it the night before if possible .. or else just buy it in the parks it is nice and cold there.. have fun and try and stay cool :cool1:

It is just as hot as Texas but I think more humid in FL. It is pretty crowded but if you do your research you should be able to plan on how to get around it. These boards are fantastic for that. I would either send water from home, or stop at the grocery to buy. The water is $2.50 per bottle, I don't know about you but I can drink at least 5 bottles of water during the day hours alone! I have this wonderful Brita Fill n' Go bottle that I always take to the parks. The filter in it kills the taste of the hard FL water. Ask away all the questions you want that's what these boards are for! Have a wonderful trip! :cool1:

For me it wasn't the heat and humidity that was unbearable it was that PLUS the crowds. I will never go during the summer months again. That's just my opinion, though.

We've gone in January, May, July, September and December. September is our favorite month.

I would avoid the summer if you can. It's not just the heat, it's the heat AND the unbearable crowds that drove us nuts. If you have to go in the summer, just plan on going to the parks early. :flower:

I guess I'm in the minority here. I always go in July. I love it!!!! The heat should not bug you at all being from Texas! I would go! Yeah there are crowds but it has never bugged me. Just plan alittle and it should be fine. :cool1: :cool1:
