Crowds to expect in August? Any day of week better?

Hi all.
I'm a DVC member and we have a 1 week stay coming in August and we plan to do a few days at US and IOA. These boards have some great tips - although some are "don't even try it unless you stay there"...but it makes no sense not to stay at our home property (BLT).

My question is "in August, have many kids are back in school are crowds appreciably lighter like they are at DW, and moreover, is midweek better?"
For DW there's all sorts of mechanisms to help plan which park which day, but I don't have this for US.

I thought a Tues - Wed or a Tues and Thurs?

Weekdays are usually always better than weekends. Early August can still be very busy but the crowds shrink throughout the month as more and more families head home and school starts.

I'm going to move this over to the main board so more people can respond.
