Crowds this week?

Can anyone tell me how the crowds have been this week? TIA!

We just returned from a week vist. We visted three of the four parks with those being MK,Epcot and MGM. We found the crowds to be equal to or heaver than when we went in May. With yesterday being extremly crowded at MK. We tried to get in one last Character Breakfast with our DD but everything was booked solid.

I was there from the 10th to the 14th and every park was very crowded.

We just got back and didn't think the crowds were bad at all. We were able to walk on most rides all week with little to no waiting time. The MK was extremely crowded when we left Thursday and one of the CM's I spoke to said that by this weekend it would be crazy and expected the MK to be at capacity in the early hours. Yikes! I'm glad we went when we did. But I have no idea cause I'm not actually there. lol

Have a Great trip. We enjoyed every moment of ours.

I just got back and I thought there really were not any crowds. Yesterday was very crazy but Weds, Thurs and Fri were nice. Weds we managed to do 2 parks.

we just got back as well and compared to july and august i thought it was pretty empty. if you usually go in may it would seem similar. on tuesday - mvmcp - we could walk right on whatever we wanted to. maybe we hit it just right but i was really impressed. talked to someone and they told me that they could not believe the crowds. but again, if you go in the summer - you know what i am talking about. it is just wall to wall people then.

Wow! I wonder what a day in July would feel like to you. We were there from the 12th to the 16th and thought every park was walk-on perfect for most of the days. Friday evening, the crowds started showing up. Before then, no problems at all.

Most waits were 10 minutes or less. Many times we walked straight to the loading platform (I actually felt cheated because I missed some of the queue area touches!).

On Wednesday night, December 13, at 8:45 p.m. my DS11 and I rode Soarin' twice in a row without getting off other than moving from one "concourse's" section to another -- both times in Row 1 because rows 2 and 3 in all of the sections were completely empty. (BTW, the sign at Soarin' said 20 minute wait when we got "in line" -- really, it was just a wait for the previous run of the ride to finish.)

We didn't even Fast Pass at all the whole week because we found it more convenient just to wait in stand-by than cycle back for our Fast Pass time (we observed that it was often something like 7 minutes wait for the Fast Pass line and 12 minutes wait for our line, a whole 5 minutes saving).

I think our longest wait all week was 18 minutes for Test Track during the afternoon on Thursday, December 14.

Now, Friday, December 15, EMH at Epcot was a mess. We had over a 10 minute wait on Maelstrom (about 13 minutes) when we normally experienced a less than 5 minute wait there.

I was at the World yesterday (Saturday). MK was pretty crowded. I've seen it worse, but was hopping. EPCOT was insane. Especially World Showcase. It was heavier than I saw it during F&W Festival - which was heavy traffic.

But again, this was just Saturday, so I guarantee the weekday crowds weren't as bad.

I can't get too specific (due to the Tourguide Mike agreement), but today was our first day at the parks.

We followed his advice (choice of parks and touring plan) and pretty much walked onto everything (maximum 10 minute wait and really not that long). We all agreed that we're sold on his site.

We were there the 8th through the 16th, and although the crowds outside of the attractions could be heavy at the usual choke points, we walked onto all but the most popular attractions. We fastpassed Soarin', Expedition Everest, Space Mountain (one time - the other times it was walk on), and Big Thunder Mountain Rail Road. Just about everything else was walk on or less than a 5 minute wait. The only exception was Jungle Cruise, which had a 20 minute wait.

Keep in mind that we got to each park before opening and experienced as many attractions as possible before 11 AM. Even so, we did stay at our chosen park of the day until at least late afternoon each day (except last Friday, when we did some extreme park hopping), and never had a problem.

I was just there from the 9th to the 13th and the parks weren't bad at all. Aside from Expedition Everest (which we waited over an hour for), you could walk on almost all of the rides.

I'd agree with the poster about being there at or before opening. That's what we did yesterday.

Today, we slept later, and it made a little bit of a difference. Honestly, though, it wasn't a huge difference. We fastpassed the main attractions (or had a 20 minute or less wait).

We even got into the Candlelight Procession - 2nd show, we arrived less than 10 minutes before it started. I will say that we were some of the last ones admitted (not sure how many got in after us, but not a lot). That said, we sat on the wall and had some of the best seats in the house. I noticed that there were quite a few people (who didn't get in) around the back of the theater (outside the rope) who just stood back there and watched. Wonderful show by the way!

Goodness! I was there the 10th to 15th and found the place empty. Never waited more than 20 minutes for anything. Most rides were a walk on...or as fast as one could meander through the line maze. I had to quit riding Buzz 'cause my hand was cramping from holding down the trigger and riding so many times. I think Soarin was at 20 minutes most of the time, with an occasionaly 40 minutes (used FP for this). Even Peter Pan, which is always a staggering wait, was only 20 minutes....although the actual wait for me was 10. It was the best time to go.
