Hello,

I am planning a Vacation to Southern California the end of October to beginning of November. I am planning 3 day's in the park's. Can any one tell me what kind of crowds I can expect ? I am thinking 2 weekdays and a Friday or a Saturday fo I can see the fireworks.
Thank you

If it's like last year, very, very low crowds. I'm hoping so anyway! Last year we went October 31st- November 4th and it was great. This year we are going October 29th- November 2nd. If you are there over Halloween be sure to watch how the letters in front of DCA magically go from Candy Corn to Candy Canes over night!

The crowds could be a bit more crowded than last year. There's an annual break in school here in Utah on Oct. 29 & 30. Many, many, many families here in Utah go to DL for this break. Many even have AP to Disneyland!! Just a heads up!

Not sure if this means anything or not...but...we originally wanted to book our November trip for the 3rd thru the 10th. I started looking at the Disneyland website in February and that week was already not available at any of the Disney hotels. Not sure if something is going on or what...

However, I am sure it will be nowhere as busy as right now =)

We are going from Nov 1 - 4 and booked our room (at DLH) in Feb. I have been checking back periodically for better rates and all three hotels have been booked since then. In fact, the Grand was not available even in Feb! I think it is the Sat night (the 3rd) that is booked up. I don't know if something special is going on, but I picked those four days because it is my birthday and I thought crowds would be very light and the weather nice. I guess we will see just how "uncrowded" it is.:confused3 I am sure we will still have a fabulous time.:goodvibes

My friends and I are taking a birthday trip then as well. When I booked, I looked at the Anaheim Convention Center website & found one thing going on at that time. I called Disney Travel and they said that they are taking the bookings for the Employee Benefits Conf & Expo. When I looked tonight to post, I noticed that there is one more thing, the Basketball event. I am hoping that everyone will be so busy in their conferences that they will stay out of the park. It is my birthday & that is my wish...:rolleyes1

I've been twice now in the first week on November (arriving usually around the 5th). The crowds were very manageable... at least until the arrival of the Veteran's Day weekend, and then things went crazy! The weather was perfect, though :-)
