We booked a our trip to DLR for the first week in December. We heard that the first week in December is a great time to go because of light crowds. I was checking on hotel rooms for some friends tonight and now according to Disney, there are no Disney hotel rooms available for that week. Is there any reason why that particular week would be busy now? I thought that this usually was a week that was not crowded. Any ideas?

This is our favorite time of year to go. The crowds are minimal, and the decorations are up it's great. I think some Hotels sell blocks of rooms to travel agents or something because our hotel always says it's sold out but when we call they have rooms. This year we are going in Oct and I'm worried about the crowds as compared to our usuall time the 1st week in Dec. But hey we'll be in Disneyland!
