We have a trip booked the first week of February which coincides with Lunar New Year. In part because our CA school district gets a day off for the holiday.
Was curious if I should brace for a more crowded resort than prior visits that occurred at the end of February? I assume there aren’t many districts that observe Lunar New Year, but maybe that is an outdated assumption? I also know there are a lot of Japanese visitors to Aulani (and I don’t think Japan observes Lunar New Year) but wasn’t sure if visitors from other Asian nations make up a large enough proportion of guests for their to be a noticeable difference in crowd size, competition for pool chairs etc.
