I know this is a common post , but we are just heading down for the day we usally never ever go down for summer due to the crowds but from what I have been reading DL has not been the typical summer crowds. We are AP holders so we figure might as well just make good use of it . I am a little wiery of going down for a Saturday so if anyone is there Now or just came back From DL any imput on crowd levels would be awesome!!! Thanks everyone :wizard:

Well...
It's summer and it's a Saturday. I would expect crowds. How crowded is all relative.

It hasn't been crowded at all in the slightest.

I don't go during Summer (I have a Silver pass) except for DL's birthday, but that will change this year because it hasn't been crowded at all!

I went on Tuesday and found it crowded - and I have been during summer in the past. Wait times for splash mountain were 65 minutes all day, space was 50 minutes around 2pm, Indy was a consistent 60-75 (with the fastpass line barely moving around 5pm, it was moving slower than the standby line!), and peter pan was 50 minutes around 5pm also. I waited 40 minutes to get the kids ice cream at Gibson girl! However, for some reason other lines were short - like Big thunder mountain was only 10!! Haunted Mansion and Pirates were both around 15-20. Buzz was 35-40 whenever I went by. To be honest, it felt much more crowded than I expected, and I think that probably made me feel the crowds even more. So just be warned, and don't expect light crowds, that way you can either be pleasantly surprised or at least not disappointed! Have fun!

Sorry to say but it will be very crowded Saturday all day. Your best bet is to get there early and get the most of the FastPass system.

Also, don't define your fun by the wait times on the popular rides only, check out the many, many shows in both aprks, they are all good and the lines are mostly short.

Bumping to ask, "How was the crowd this Saturday? The weather was so nice today I spent most of the day hoping it will be like this next week and wishing I was at Disney.

I spent the whole day on the 12th at California Adventure, I thought it was moderately busy, especially for it being a Saturday during the Summer.

The CM were saying that it has been relatively slower this Summer due to gas prices being so high.

It was only a 40 minute wait for the new Toy Story Ride.
