Crowds next week October 17

Heading to the world next week. I was hoping it wouldn't be that crowded as this week was a holiday. DH said he heard on the news that southern schools had a break from school next week. I'm hoping he heard wrong. Does anyone know?

October is a very busy month. LOTS of schools have fall breaks.

Most if Indiana is on a fall break that week as well. Next week starts our two week break window and we will be down in Disney starting on the 21st. I know several other Indiana families traveling that way as well.

we are down there next week as well. Hoping it isn't too busy. But, as always, if its really busy, you make the best of it.

We've found that if you avoid Columbus Day, the weekend prior and the day after that Oct is a little less crowded than early March, Spring Break, which used to be our time to go. Stay away from WS on Sat, use FPs and hit RD and you'll do fine, we expect to.

DH and I will be there next weekend so add 2 more to the crowds. Like PP said avoid WS on Saturday and I'd add Friday night.

We learned 2 years ago. We got in Saturday afternoon, and were going to go into EPCOT to look around and get a drink before dinner. Big mistake, it was a zoo with a lot of drunk people wondering around.
So, we avoid Saturday and leave Friday about 5 and get a nice dinner at a non EPCOT restaurant.

It is....we leave next week too from Vermont with our Fall 'long weekend'...not quite a full week off from school.

We are on fall break next week in Georgia. Surrounding counties also have already had their fall breaks or in the next week or two.

DITTO. Expect heavy crowds. Rope drop is your best friend.
