We've been every year right before Thanksgiving, and the crowds are GREAT! This year, we are going Sept 23-26 and wonder what the crowds and weather might be like. We love BB, and it is open in November and usually warm enough for at least one day there.
Would love any info about Sept

Yes, we were there last Sept. The crowds were very light. Short lines for nearly all the rides. This is why we choose to go back in Sept.

Weather though, hot & humid, just like August.

Hey! September is great! It is a little warm and sometimes you have to work around tropical storms and hurricanes but chances of that are slim. My dh and I go in Sept. every year. The crowds are low and you can usually do things over and over. We just stay away from ee days and have no problems at all. I think you will love it. We are thinking about trying bb this year too. We have never been. Have fun!

We are so excited to be going again! I was hoping the lines would be short; it's just the two of us and we can really travel any time of year and want to take advantage of lighter crowds.

I figured it would be hot enough for the water parks.. I need to check and see which ones are open at that time. Typhoon Lagoon is always closed for re-hab in November. would be fun to try!

Thanks again!

We've gone in September a lot, but the first two weeks, not the last. The first two weeks are always very quiet, so I assume the rest of the month is also quiet. It's just the two of us also, and never get PS's. We don't like to be tied down to be somewhere at a certain time. But, we have never had a problem getting a seat at any restaurant. When it's just two, and there are fewer crowds, finding sufficient seating at places to eat is not a problem. We've never done a water park (Stephen does not like them) but, weather wise, I don't see it as a problem. It's as hot as August. We've had pretty good luck the last two years on weather. Little rain and no tropical storm. A tropical storm hit just prior to our arrival in September 01, but it was gone by the time we got there. You could see the aftermath, but that's all. Have a good time, September is the best kept secret we know.

The crowds were light, but I remember the rain being an issue sometimes. I also remember those very annoying "love bugs" that came maybe the last week of Sept. three years ago. I think they come every year about that time.

As you can see, we're returning on the 21st! I'll take the rain and the love bugs! Maybe we'll see you there!

As long as you avoid the Magic Kingdom on Saturdays, crowds are generally not a problem in Sept.
Both Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach are open during the month of Sept. from 10 am to 6 pm.

What are the love bugs? We are going the last week in sept & the 1st weekend in Oct. We went Oct 31 in 1999 and loved the crowds and the weather. Now I am worried about the heat a whole month earlier. How about the weather the end of Sept?
36 days left!!!!:smooth: :Pinkbounc

This year we will be there the 6 - 14th and I am hoping the FTP won't make that big of a diffrence in park attendance and it will be the same as people have reposrted in the past.

Last year was our first trip . We went Aug 14th - 26th and we didn't find crowds that bad - hopefully this time will be even better !!

We were there Sept. 22-29 last year for our honeymoon, and there were never crowds! The longest we had to wait for any ride was a twenty minute wait for Space Mountain... We slept in, made our PS's the day of the meals....

Here's to hoping the crowds will be low again this September, our trip is fast approaching!

Only once have we not gone in Sept(never again!!!!!!!!!)The last trip the weather was great, plenty warm enough for the WP,BUT we have also had terrible weather a couple of times! Raining 9/14 one trip & I don't mean just for 1/2 an hour!
We always go after Labor day so the crowds are normally not tooo bad, just full of us British!!
Have only ever seen the lovebugs on our first trip!:jester:

Hi Were going the last two weeks in sept too. I have a feeling it will be crowded. I have had alot of PS well in advance and still didnt get the times I wanted. I think with the fairy tail deal alot of people are going. Judy

I am hoping for lighter crowds than what we are used to. DH and I usually go in the summer - end of July or beginning of August. I have never been bothered by the crowds, but maybe I am crazy in the head  I mean, there were like 45 min. waits for RNR at that time, but I never thought anything of it.

I will be very pleased if the crowds are lighter - maybe then I will realize how busy it is in the summer!! The only park I admit is busy is MK - by early afternoon, the park is packed in mid summer. Lines for Splash were like 75 min. long and it felt like the line never moved. Let's hope for light crowds, and short lines for attractions this year!!

I'm so happy that both water parks will be open! We've never been to TL. I'm getting on the phone today to make PS's, just in case!

Thanks everyone! Hope to see some lime green ribbons!
