Starting to get worried about the late September crowds. Have a quick 3 night trip planned for the 24-27 and checked the hotels today to see if there were any new deals (already have a room reserved at the RPH).

Both RPH and HRH are completely sold-out, and PBH only has one room type available. Figured this would be a quieter time at the park, but if all 3 deluxe hotels are essentially sold-out, worried what the parks will be like.

Any regulars have some insight? First trip back to Universal for my wife & I in 4 years.

Don't read anything into it. The parks will still just be moderate crowds. Early entry may be pretty crowded though.

FWIW, I still see availability at RPR. Limited to a two queen waterview room, but they aren't completely booked.

Im going 25-27 and yes I saw the same thing.. All deluxe hotels were sold out.. Could be because of HHN..

I've been onsite and to the parks on those exact dates for at least four years (2008-2012, 2013-14 a week or two later) and parks have always had low to no crowds and rides are mostly walk-ins.

Cheers!

Good to hear thanks

Keep in mind that RPR is a convention hotel, as is PBH.HRH is small. Full resorts don't always = crowded parks

That's true.......last year when we were there, a couple of times the hotel really filled up with conventions but no change for the park crowds at all considering how busy the hotel was.

We'll be there 25-28 and were worried about the same thing! Thanks for posting so I could read some of the replies :)

Thanks for the input.

This is my wife's first year teaching (career change), so we were trying to take advantage of the one holiday she gets that is not national (Jewish holidays in NY) for a quick trip away with lower crowds.

Can't want to see the HP expansion.
