crowds late Oct/early Nov

Will be in Disney 10/29 - 11/2. Was wondering what I should expect for crowds since Halloween is during this period?

I can't tell you because we're going for the first time. But I think its Jersey Week the first week of Nov so it might be more crowded.

Also, there are people who delayed their trip due to the hurricanes (like us) and it might be busier due to that. The Oct hours were increased so I'm thinking Disney is expecting crowds.

PS- I'm no expert. Just going by what I've read on other boards.

We were ar WDW Oct 31 - Nov 7 in 2000 and Oct 31 - Nov 5 in 2003. We thought the crowds were pretty manageable. We used Fast Pass as often as possible and probably waited an average of five minutes for most attractions. I don't think we waited more than 15 minutes on either of our trips.

My advice would be:

* don't get stressed about Jersey Week
* if possible, avoid MK and EPCOT (it will be F&W Festival) on Sat & Sun.

* try to follow touring plans recommended on the DIS!

Also, the weather was nearly perfect on both of our trips!

I'm expecting larger than usual crowds for our trip (last week in October) due to the hurricanes in August/September, Food & Wine Fest & Halloween. Hope i'm wrong though.

in late october, and we enjoyed it very much: not very crowded, warm, but not hot weather. since its not too busy things close early, and there's not as much going on, but it a nice time to go. in fact, we'll be going again this year the 22 thru the 30! i do not know if its still true, but on our two previous trips there were many people from england in the parks, we had a good time meeting and talking with them. its a fall school break time for them. i am sure mk will be packed on the 31, but overall , this is one of our favorite times of the year to visit wdw.
