As an adult, I have typically only visited WDW during Labor Day week in September. It is the least crowded with low wait times on rides and cheapest hotel prices. I've taken one trip, in 2014, during F&W only because I ran the Tower of Terror 10-miler (October) and the crowd difference was significant. Other than that, I have no clue what the parks are like at other times of the year.

In 2017, I will be going at the end of March for a birthday trip. I know it will be more crowded because of possible spring break trips but it will also be the Epcot F&G Festival. Has anyone been this time of year and give me an idea about crowds and wait times? It won't affect my decision, I just want to be aware!

Side note: Easter is 2 weeks after my trip.

Thanks!

Just chiming in that I'll be there the last week of March 2017 for my Bday trip too:) First time to WDW and Universal for me!! I'm hoping that the weeks distance from Easter will give us a break in crowds.

Just keep in mind that not all of the schools take Easter break during Easter week. Some colleges start a few weeks before Easter so you might see increased crowd levels at the end of March.

I was there a week after you're planning for this year (so first week of April/one week before Easter 2016.) It was crowded but the park hours were long which gave us extra time to get in what we wanted to do. Overall, it was a fun trip and the weather was great. Pay attention to the crowd calendars ahead of time- that helped us a lot! Plus, we stayed flexible and when we just sick of bumping shoulders we switched parks or went back to the hotel.
